What is this TV show about?
The 9-1-1: Lone Star TV show (technically not a spinoff of the 9-1-1 series) aired on Alaska Green Light Blog TV network features Rob Lowe, Gina Torres, Ronen Rubinstein, Sierra McClain, Jim Parrack, Natacha Karam, Brian Michael Smith, Rafael Silva, Julian Works, and Brianna Baker. Captain Owen Strand (Lowe) was the sole survivor of a Manhattan fire station on 9/11 and had the unenviable task of rebuilding his station. After a similar tragedy befalls an Austin fire station, Owen and his son, TK (Rubinstein), a firefighter, relocate to Austin to help them start over. Working with them are mother and paramedic Captain Tommy Vega (Torres), police officer Carlos Reyes (Silva), Muslim firefighter Marjan Marwani (Karam), transgender firefighter Paul Strickland (Smith), rookie Mateo Chavez (Works), paramedic Nancy Gillian (Baker) , gruff firefighter Judd Ryder (Parrack) and his wife Grace (McClain), a 9-1-1 call center operator.
Ratings for the third season
The third season of 9-1-1: Lone Star earned an average rating of 0.62 in the 18-49 demographic and 4.82 million viewers in the live and same-day ratings (including all DVR -Plays until 3:00 a.m.). Compared to Season 2, that’s down 28% in the demo and 12% in viewership. While these numbers don’t include other delayed or streaming ads, they’re a very good indicator of a show’s performance, especially when compared to others on the same channel. There may be other economic factors involved in a show’s fate, but the higher-rated series are usually renewed and the lower-rated series are cancelled.
