Washington Wizards star Bradley Beal is on hold for at least a week after an MRI showed he had mild strain in his left thigh muscles.
Beal suffered the injury during the second period of Tuesday’s loss to the Milwaukee Bucks. He then left the game, finishing the game with just eight points and four assists in 13 minutes.
Beal is averaging 22.9 points, 3.5 rebounds and 5.2 assists per game this season. The Wizards are currently in a difficult spot (17-22) as he will be out for one more time.
The all-star guard signed a five-year, $251 million deal with DC last summer.
