The East End’s best-known biscuit maker has added two new flavors to its range.

Tate’s Cookie Bark is available in two flavors for the first time: milk chocolate with white chocolate drizzle and dark chocolate with sea salt.

The brand’s latest creation, Cookie Bark, which consists of bite-sized pieces of Tate’s famous crunchy chocolate chip cookies wrapped in creamy chocolate and toppings, was launched on Tuesday 3 January.

This sweet new treat reflects Tate’s ongoing efforts to introduce new products to her growing fanbase of customers who love her products, especially since Kathleen King’s local bakery became a national one with its sale to Riverside for $100 million Brand was expanded in 2014 and then in 2018 to Mondelez International for $500 million.

This month, Tate’s also introduces delicious new gluten-free lemon biscuits, continuing a tradition the company established years ago.

Tate’s latest product developments, currently available in grocery stores across the country, include vegan cookies and seasonal flavors like Pumpkin Spice and Blueberry Crisp. Also, the neighborhood bakery introduced gluten-free biscuits more than ten years ago.

Tate’s Bake Shop’s announcement quotes Chief Marketing Officer Lauren Sella as saying, “At Tate’s Bake Shop, we pride ourselves on constantly offering exciting and new offerings. With the debut of our Cookie Bark, we offer a decadent, indulgent treat that transforms our signature crunchy chocolate chip cookie into a whole new experience. Tate’s Bake Shop’s Chocolate Chip Cookie has become a well-known favorite; now Tate’s Delicacy Bark is making the same cherished cookie a “next level” treat.

This month, Tate’s Cookie Bark and Tate’s Gluten-Free Lemon Cookies are selling online at tatesbakeshop.com and at locations across the country for $6.49 each for a 6-ounce pack.

The Orthodox Union has kosher-certified cookie crust and gluten-free lemon cookies.
