Traditionally the last game of English football’s domestic calendar, the FA Cup final brings down the curtain of each season with a flagship event.

Neil Warnock may have once said ‘Matches are no bigger than FA Cup quarter-finals’. But most don’t share that view (a level of disagreement Warnock is no stranger to).

Here’s everything you need to know to get a ticket to one of the biggest games of the year, even Warnock would concede.

The construction of Wembley Stadium was originally scheduled to be completed in 2003. But it wasn’t until 2007 that the London venue was fit to host the FA Cup final, which served as the stage for a desperately dismal affair which Chelsea won thanks to an extra-time goal by Didier Drogba against Manchester United.

The new Wembley have hosted every FA Cup final since and will do so again this year.

When is the FA Cup 2022/23 final?

This year’s showpiece is scheduled for Saturday June 3rd. The winners of each semi-final, also played at Wembley, will play against each other the weekend after the Premier League ends at the end of May.

The price of admission varies greatly depending on what type of ticket you are willing to spend money on. SoccerTicketNet estimates the cheapest price to be around £500, with your seat behind both goals in the highest stand. A similar fee that FIFA charged for the cheapest World Cup final tickets.

The closer you get to the center line, the higher the prize. Upper tier seats are expected to cost between £500 and £600. Tickets at the lowest tier vary from £650 to £850, while the middle tier has the highest fee.

For top seats in the house, fans will have to part with a sum in the region of £1,050.

And that’s just the price of a basic seat. Once you hit the four-figure mark, you might be tempted to make the entire afternoon a luxe experience. Club Wembley’s hospitality area is highly regarded and equally expensive.

After P1 travel,, A private box that comes with a three-course meal could cost as much as £1,676.
