Follow these steps to edit a video on your phone. (Apple)
Here are some simple ways to edit videos on your phone quickly and easily – without the help of special apps.
How to edit videos on your iPhone
While your iPhone’s built-in camera lets you record videos in both cinematic and slow-mo modes, you also have the option to slow down, trim, add a filter, or adjust your video right from the Photos app.
To cut a video
Open the video you want to edit. Tap on “Edit”. Move the sliders on either side of the video timeline at the bottom of the screen to where you want your video to start and end. Tap Play to preview your edit. Tap Done.

Here you have the option to “Save Video” or “Save Video as New Clip”. Tapping “Save Video” will only save the newly edited version of the video, while tapping “Save Video as New Clip” will save both the original video and the newly edited version.
