Netflix Sci-Fi From Train to Busan Director
#Netflix #SciFi #Train #Busan #Director Welcome to Alaska Green Light Blog, here is the new story we have for you today:
In Jung_E, the latest from Train to Busan director Yeon Sang-ho, a battle between mother and fatherland ensues in the post-apocalyptic near future. And this is literally an army of mothers modeled after the mother of a researcher in an AI lab. In the midst of a civil war, the new Netflix film finds a scientist coming to terms with the loss of her heroic mother by cloning her. Nothing can go wrong there, right?

It’s gripping and grotesque in the vein of body horror and ethical compromise. The AI creation scenes don’t hold back and we’re intrigued by Yeon’s take on this alarming future. This sci-fi vision is set in the year 2194 when humans are living in shelters outside of our habitable planet, so it kind of makes sense that survivors would turn to their mothers to save them: imagine your mother was the Terminator and she became the only hope for mankind.
I’m surprised this isn’t released on Mother’s Day. Instead, Jung_E debuts on January 20 only on Netflix.
