Release date, price and everything you need to know
#Release #date #price Welcome to Alaska Green Light Blog, here is the new story we have for you today:
Since launching the first HP Elite Dragonfly in 2019, it has grown to become the company’s most iconic and premium business laptop. It has received a new iteration every year since then, and the latest model arrives with simplified branding – HP Dragonfly G4 – along with some improvements and new features under the hood. There aren’t many big changes, but they build on one of the best laptops HP makes, and with the last redesign just last year, there really isn’t much to change.
If you want to know everything about the HP Dragonfly G4, you’ve come to the right place. HP hasn’t given a very specific release date or pricing details, but we do know the general specs and what’s new in this model and we’ll share everything we know with you.

Prices and Availability
Like most laptops announced at CES, HP has only given us a vague timeframe for the Dragonfly G4’s launch, and we know it’s scheduled for release sometime in the spring. The pricing is also a mystery for now, which is also typical for HP with CES announcements. Regardless of the starting price, it will obviously increase from there depending on which configuration you choose. It’s also worth noting that pre-built configurations are generally cheaper than build-to-order options, even with similar specs.
However, you can probably expect a price increase compared to last year’s model as that was a trend this year. Production costs have risen across the industry and prices need to rise to compensate. Last year’s model started at just under $2,000, so the new one should be close.
What’s new in the HP Dragonfly G4?
In terms of hardware, the HP Dragonfly G4 is mostly a spec upgrade over its predecessor, but HP has been working on some software improvements that make it an interesting laptop in its own right. Let’s take a closer look at what’s new.
New Intel processors
Of course, a spec bump is usually the first thing you’re guaranteed to get with any hardware upgrade, and it’s no different here. The HP Dragonfly G4 includes the latest 13th Gen Intel Core models, although HP hasn’t said which SKUs are specifically included. There aren’t any big, sweeping changes like higher core counts or improved graphics with this generation of Intel processors, but you do get the typical performance improvements you’d expect.
New webcam features
In 2022, HP began using much better webcams in its laptops to adapt to hybrid and remote work environments, and integrated 5 MP webcams in all of its premium laptops. That doesn’t change this year, but HP goes even further with brand new features for the webcam to make the experience even better.
First off, there’s the new multi-camera feature, which lets you connect a second camera to your laptop and actually use two cameras at once. For example, you can have one camera to capture you and another to show a whiteboard you’re referencing and show it to your audience at the same time. And if you have multiple monitors, each with a camera, the new Automatic Camera Selection feature uses face tracking technology to detect which camera you’re looking at and switch to it, so people always see you from the best possible angle.
There’s even more to it than that. When you want to emphasize a whiteboard or document, the new HP Keystone Correction can automatically crop the camera’s frame to show exactly the content you want to see, making it easier to read. And in addition to the existing backlight correction and appearance filters, HP is also adding a new natural tones feature to make your skin look more realistic in meetings.
New power saving features
Another big focus of the HP Dragonfly G4 is energy efficiency, and it starts with a new feature called Smart Sense that keeps your PC running cool and quiet during normal operation, but achieves higher performance for more demanding tasks when needed. HP says it worked exclusively with Intel to create a better power management solution for higher-wattage processors.
There’s also Intelligent Hibernate, a feature that allows your PC to conserve more power when you’re not using it. You may have noticed that Windows laptops aren’t very good at saving battery when they’re asleep thanks to Modern Standby, but HP Intelligent Hibernate helps fix this by putting your PC to sleep when You are done with the day’s work. The laptop learns your usage patterns so it only goes to sleep when you’re not using it, and it also knows when you start work again so it goes back to Modern Standby so it can wake up immediately , when you use it. ready to use again.
Finally, HP is also introducing an OLED power saving feature on the OLED models, which aims to help you enjoy the benefits of OLED displays while consuming less power when running on battery power.
Where can I buy the HP Dragonfly G4?
If you want to buy the HP Dragonfly G4, you’ll have to wait a little longer. As mentioned above, the launch date is planned for spring, but we don’t have a specific date yet. When it launches, it will first appear on HP’s website, although corporate customers should also be able to get it from specialized business-to-business retailers. You probably shouldn’t expect to see it at traditional retailers like Best or Amazon, as they are more focused on consumer devices.
If you can’t afford to wait, we recommend checking out the best laptops you can buy right now. There are some great options if you want a laptop as soon as possible, and there’s a good chance you won’t miss out on major improvements.
