‘The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City’ star Jen Shah is anxiously awaiting her sentencing for wire fraud in federal court – and, as you’d expect, she’s dressed in her finest for her big day.
Jen showed up at the NYC courthouse wearing a cheetah print outfit… so the judge won’t have any trouble identifying the defendant.
As we reported, Jen was arrested back in 2021 for using an alleged telemarketing scheme to attack people and cheat people out of their money… She initially pleaded not guilty, and her attorney said she was “completely innocent.”
That all changed in July, when she pleaded guilty to charges of conspiracy to commit telemarketing-related wire fraud … and as part of her deal, prosecutors dropped a charge of conspiracy to commit money laundering.
The deal carried a prison sentence of up to 14 years and potentially around $9 million in compensation for victims of the scam. Jen herself asked for 3 years.
After legal documentsobtained by TMZ, the Feds fired a 10-year sentence against the reality star in December … and provided a laundry list of reasons why she’s the “guiltiest person charged in this case.”
The sentencing is in progress…stay tuned for updates.
