Effective January 16, 2023, The JM Smucker Co. has appointed Rebecca Scheidler as Senior Vice President and General Manager of the Company’s Consumer Foods Division. After Tina Floyd left to work for Hudsonville Ice Cream on January 13, she will replace her.

John Brase, Smucker’s Chief Operating Officer, said: “I am delighted to have Rebecca at the helm as we continue to successfully execute our Consumer Foods strategy which has enabled us to develop leadership positions in numerous categories and drive us well positioned for continued growth. “Rebecca is an appropriate leader to serve as the steward of our great brands and drive our strategy,” the company said. “Her extensive CPG experience has demonstrated her track record of achieving significant commercial success for our Consumer Foods business and her ability to motivate high-performing teams.”

Ms. Scheidler, as head of the $1.7 billion division, will lead efforts to expand the company’s Uncrustables brand and its broader range of snacks and spreads.

Ms. Scheidler joined Smucker in 2019 as Vice President of Marketing for the Consumer Foods business. She has also held a number of leadership positions at various CPG companies, such as associate director of business strategy at Mead Johnson Nutrition and director of marketing for hand and body lotion brands at Kao Corp.

She graduated from Southern Indiana University with a master’s degree in business administration.
