Dana White is the President of the UFC and certainly a controversial figure in the world of MMA. Dana White was also previously accused of an “illegal crime” in Las Vegas.
Dana White’s mother, June White, wrote an unauthorized biography of the UFC president in 2011, which included his childhood and how he changed after success.
The book, titled Dana White, King of MMA, explored how he was once a loving friend and caring son who morphed into a “selfish, egotistical, arrogant and cruel” vengeful bully who cared about the feelings of others .
In an interview a few years later, June White spoke further about her son’s married life. She accused him of cheating on his wife, Anne White, with multiple ring girls, as well as his sister-in-law.
“His marriage is a joke. Everyone knows he shames Tiger Woods. He has a lot of ring card girls who sleep with him… He slept with his sister-in-law at my house, which absolutely pissed me off. He goes after any girl he wants and usually gets them. They are [White and his wife] constantly fighting. On their honeymoon, she gave him the worst black eye I’ve ever seen.”
Dana White slapping his wife on New Year’s Eve while on vacation in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico has also sparked much debate.
Stephen A. Smith, an American sports television personality, stated that UFC President Dana White should be subjected to the same punishment he has felt appropriate for other abusers in the past. Speaking on the latest episode of the morning sports debate show First Take, Smith said UFC should fire White:
“You don’t lay hands on a woman when you’re a man. Dana White knows that. He has spoken out against men who have previously touched women and what punishment you would inflict on anyone else under the circumstances should he use on himself.”
